Associated CMMC Research Groups

Research Group Leaders from either the Faculty of Medicine or the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Cologne may apply for Associated CMMC Membership in CMMC Associated Research Group Program. Applicants’ research interests must align with one of the CMMC’s three Research Areas. In addition, applicants must hold an active grant from the German Research Foundation (DFG) or receive equivalent external funding.

Please note that associated CMMC Research Group Leaders do not have voting rights and are not members of the Board of CMMC Principal Investigators unless they serve on the Executive Board or hold another designated CMMC governance role that confers such rights.

Associated CMMC Membership provides Research Group Leaders and their teams with the following benefits:

• Active participation in all general CMMC meetings and events, including the CMMC Annual Retreat.
• The opportunity to invite external guest speakers to the CMMC Seminar Series, with support from the CMMC Office
• Access to CMMC facilities.

To demonstrate their association with the CMMC, associated Research Group Leaders are requested to list the CMMC as an institutional affiliation in relevant publications and other research outputs.
