The Experimental Immunology of the Eye, tries to bridge the gap between basic research and the development of novel immune therapies for degenerative diseases of the retina. As part of the Medical Faculty at the University of Cologne, we further aim to provide optimal training and education of aspiring scientists to strengthen basic and translational research in ophthalmology and immunology.
