First Proteomics Course on Quantitative Proteomics and Bioinformatics for life scientists
We are pleased to announce that the first joint proteomics course entitled “Quantitative Proteomics and Bioinformatics for life scientists” will take place from Nov. 23 - 25, 2016 in the Lecture Hall (Ground Floor), CECAD Building, Joseph-Stelzmann-Str. 26, 50931 Köln.
International, highly renown experts will introduce the topic of their own research. We are pleased to welcome:
Blagoey Blagoev - University of Southern Denmark, Odense, Denmark
Jürgen Cox - MPI for Biochemistry, Munich - Germany
Jörn Dengjel - University of Fribourg - Switzerland
Pitter Hüsgen - Forschungszentrum Jülich - Germany
Jeroen Krijgsveld - University Heidelberg, DKFZ - Germany
Michael Lund Nielsen - University Kopenhagen, CPR -Denmark
Boris Macek - University Tübingen - Germany
Felix Meissner - MPI for Biochemistry, Munich - Germany
Jesper Olsen - University Kopenhagen, CPR - Denmark
Rene Zahedi - ISAS, Dortmund - Germany
During the course participants will gain insight into following areas:
- quantitative mass spectrometry
- enrichment of post translational modifications
- protein-protein interactions
- bioinformatics analysis of proteomics data
- detailed advice and a hands-on training for computational analysis of proteomics data
Participation is only possible with a confirmed registration by the organizer.
The course is a joint venture of
the CECAD Cologne / Center for Molecular Medicine Cologne * the CECAD/CMMC Proteomics Team and
