
Call for Submission of Poster Abstracts
We are pleased to invite all participants to submit abstracts for poster presentation at the CMMC Symposium 2026.

- The abstracts should be sent by mail to the CMMC Symposium by e-mail to the e-mail address: cmmc-symposium[at]uni-koeln.de
- The deadline for abstract submission: September 01, 2026
- Authors will be notified no later than September 11, 2026, if their poster is selected for a poster presentation
- Selected abstracts are to be presented as a poster in DIN A0 format (84 cm wide and 118 cm high) in upright format
Selection Procedure and Poster Award
Poster presentations will be selected based on the evaluation of submitted abstracts. Abstracts will be assessed by the Poster Evaluation Committee with regard to scientific quality, originality, novelty, relevance, and potential impact.
Following the poster session, the Poster Evaluation Committee will select the three most outstanding poster presentations. The presenting authors will be invited to give a short oral presentation on September 30, 2026, the final day of the symposium.
The selected presenters will receive the Poster Awards – CMMC Symposium 2026, each endowed with a prize of €250.
Selection - Poster Award - CMMC Symposium 2023
The Poster Evaluation Committee will nominate the three most outstanding poster contributions after the CMMC Poster Session. The presenting authors of the three most outstanding poster contributions will be honored with the Poster Awards - CMMC Symposium 2023 and will receive 250,- EUR.
September 19, 2023 at 4.20 p.m.: Michal R Schweiger and Roman-Ulrich Müller charing the poster evaluation committee will announce the awardees of the CMMC Poster Prizes
September 20, 2023 at 1.00 p.m.: The three poster prize winner will be inivted to give a short talk (7 Min. talk and 3 Min. discussion) on Wednesday during the last session.
