Career Advancement Groups

The recently implemented Career Advancement Program (CAP) has been specifically designed to support high-potential mid-career scientists of the Medical Faculty aiming for full professorships or equivalent leadership positions at non-university research institutions. The CMMC provides temporarily access to high-quality laboratory space in the CMMC Research Building, access to the research infrastructure and adminsitrative support as well as to aimed at enhancing their scientific expertise and professional skills base. The CMMC currently supports the following 12 CAP-groups.

To further specifically promote mid-career female scientists the CMMC invites all interested female scientists at the Medical Faculty and Science Faculty to submit applications for the Career Advancement Program (CAP).



The CMMC Executive Board is looking forward to receive applications from female scientists whose scientific profiles meet the CAP requirements: "Eligible female individuals are members of the Medical Faculty and Science Faculty, do not hold a W2/W3 professorship and are not older than 47 years at the time of submitting the application but are currently developing their own successful career with innovative biomedical research projects and at least one running DFG, ERC or Krebshilfe grant.
